Other changes include additional information about sugar, potassium and vitamin D. Fat is not rectified in health sciences to all the fat - such as thought in the past - just the type of fat, and thus the "calories from fat" line will be removed. In its place will be on the line "% trans fats." Trans fats have shown an association with heart disease, and there is a movement to get them removed from all processed foods.
