It became the very celebration during Midsummer Eve. Eight degrees, rain, scattered hail, icy wind. While we huddled indoors could anyone say it was a similar weather last Christmas Eve. Though it could have been worse. Sometime in the late 70s, I remember that it was snowing in midsummer; heavy flakes that settled over the countryside. In terms of weather it's pretty pointless to get excited about. Is there anything that we can not influence, so it is rain, snow and wind. It as well takes care of itself, whether we curse it or not.
It's probably not so much on the children that we see that time passes and we age. It's the World Cup we do it. It seems that after all it is the World Cup all the time. Not just that they played a championship in South Africa? Now they play in Brazil. Not to mention the summer ufpc of 1994 when Sweden took bronze - it was just painted.
