KZ2: KZ2 is 125ccm engines equipped with six gears and one of the toughest you can run on a karting


This weekend run the first round of the European Championship in karting at the German track Wackersdorf. The entire 282 drivers divided on the three class KF2, KZ2 and KZ1 will compete for points for later crowned European champions. Norway has seven drivers who participate in classes KF2 and KZ2 which is good considering the range the small karting nation we actually are and the more fun it is that we have more drivers that can compete at the top in both classes.
KF2: KF2 class consists of 125ccm engines and is the only class this weekend without gears. Here we have five Norwegians who will compete for the coveted spots among the 122 other competitors in the class. One of them is Dennis Olsen running on Energy Corse its factory team. Dennis has extensive experience at international mds communications level and in recent years has made good results mds communications in several prestigious races and series and therefore must see itself as one of the favorites before the weekend mds communications kicks off. Øystein Helgheim who won the prestigious talent competition auto racing talent is also a kid who can do one good result this weekend. Øystein running mds communications factory team FormulaK.
Mats Borge Andersen also set to start. Mats is a driver with a lot of experience and a long history mds communications in the class KF2. Chris Robin Funder is also a driver with long experience in KF2. Chris Robin also has much international experience, but unfortunately never got the big results. Cedrik Fonn Scoring is the last Norwegian who starts in class KF2, Cedrik is to be considered a rookie in the class as this is his third race and its first international race in KF2.

Here we have two athletes, Emil Antonsen and Kenneth Østvold both are capable of making very strong results. Emil has driven much run in Germany and won a race at the latest in 2009 precisely this path, so it may he can recall a few tricks when the heats starts.
