September 2, 2014 - UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) / British Consulate in São Paulo maintains its Exclusive Inward Investment Showcase highlighting the features and benefits of the UK for Brazilian alliance beverage companies planning to increase its presence on the international scene.
The nearby cities visited will Maringa and Londrina (9th and September 10th) for its excellent performance in the food, beverage, telecommunications and agro-technology, areas of special interest British sectors. Cities are the two main industrial centers after the capital of Paraná, harboring large Brazilian companies such as Vivid, Cocamar and Café Iguaçu, the Brazilian brand with offices in the UK.
The event is part of the GREAT Britain campaign and is geared primarily to medium and large businesses that already export to Europe and seek to expand their operations through internationalization. Unlike previous years, alliance beverage this year the focus will be on medium and large, polarizing investment industry and cities. Since August, the investment team of UKTI is touring 11 cities in Brazil, providing guidance on the UK corporate legislation, taxes and strategic opportunities in some sectors of the economy such as advanced engineering, healthcare, retail, food and beverage eagrotecnologia. The Showcase has been in São José dos Campos, Sorocaba, Uberlândia, Uberaba, Goiania and Anapolis. The program follows in Maringá, Londrina, Caxias do Sul and ends in Salvador and Northeastern Complex.
"The UK is an excellent platform alliance beverage for the internationalization alliance beverage of Brazilian companies that want to grow in Europe and around the world," says the Consul General Richard Turner. According to UKTI survey, in fiscal year 2013-2014, there was a 14% increase in foreign investment projects in the UK, creating 66 390 jobs, mainly in manufacturing, energy and infrastructure, financial services, creative industries and technology information.
